Has over 18 years’ experience in capital markets covering investment research, portfolio management, business development and general management. He has worked for the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in South Africa as well as banking and investment management groups in Zimbabwe and has extensive knowledge of African capital markets. He responsible for driving strategy and has oversight over investments.

Having been with AFLIFE for over 6 years, he began as an Assistant Investment Analyst in 2014, responsible for macroeconomic analysis investment research, investment appraisals, and client servicing. He took up a role in Client Relations to focus on client servicing and ensuring that clients have an excellent experience with AFLIFE. He equally plays a leading role in new business development engaging both institutional and retail prospective clients. He oversees the firm’s marketing campaign and drive to enhance the nation’s investment culture.

Responsible for controlling day to day financial and accounting of all client and shareholder fund data encompassing back office Operations and risk management. He has more than 10 years of professional experience spanning accounting, finance and investment operations. Additionally, he is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

Has combined 6 years’ experience in the financial industry as a financial advisor at audit firm Grant Thornton and as an Investment analyst at Black thread Capital Botswana.  He is responsible for research of local equities, macro-economic analysis and developing long-term investment strategy across asset classes.  Mumba has developed core skills in financial reporting, business advisory including financial modelling, valuation, report writing and economic research. He has been involved in executing trade instructions and general client portfolio administration, portfolio optimization and monitoring in line with client specific policy mandates and preparing financial accounts and business management reports.

Joins the Aflife Team after more than 7 years in the banking industry in Zambia. She specialized in Corporate Banking while working for Stanbic Bank and thereafter, at First National Bank (FNB).  She has experience in Client Relationship Management, Corporate & Investment Banking as well as Global Markets and Foreign Exchange. She is responsible for conducting investment research and analysis, and providing recommendations for investments in high yield debt and money market instruments

Joined the Aflife team with more than 6 years’ professional experience.  Her current role entails being responsible for carrying out investment research, making sound investment analysis, recommendations and decisions across assigned asset classes; fixed income, offshore investments and cash – for the optimum management of the funds under Aflife.  She will also assist in building and maintaining relationships with existing institutional clients and prospects, through regular interaction and new business efforts via coordination with the client relationship team.

A member of the portfolio management team, he joined the company in October 2017 with 4 years prior professional experience with another asset management company. His current role includes, but not limited to investment research, making sound investment analysis, recommendations, and decisions across assigned asset classes, predominantly money market, and local listed equity investments. He assists in building and maintaining relationships with existing institutional clients and prospects, through regular interaction, product, and business developments. He is primarily responsible for maintaining relationships with the commercial banks as well as other financial institutions who issue money market instruments. His primary responsibilities also extend to compliance and ensuring that investments are made within the dictates of the law and client mandates.

A member of the portfolio management team, Predencia joined the company in February 2016. Her current roles include but are not limited to sound investment analysis, investment research, adherence to client and regulatory statutes and limitations, overseeing portfolio implementation as well as recommendation and decision making predominantly on the listed equity front. She also assists in client relationship management by way of building and maintaining relationships with existing institutional as well as retail clients via product and business development.

Eleutherius joined Aflife in 2015 and has worked in the investments operations were he is currently responsible for overseeing the settlement cycle for all investment transactions and reporting for various funds under management. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and currently pursuing ACCA final level.

In addition to the team that runs the business day to day we are able to draw on extensive expertise of individuals who sit on the Investment Committee and these are:

 

John Janes – Retired CEO and career banker with over 30 years’ experience in financial services covering Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.


Michael Viljoen –Senior Portfolio Manager (Africa Debt) at Sanlam Africa Investments with over 20 years’ experience in financial services and capital markets.


Neo Bogatsu – CEO of BIFM, with over 20 years’ experience in financial services in audit, strategic planning, project management, risk management and asset management in Southern Africa.


Muna Hantuba – Group CEO and former CEO of Aflife. Has over 25 years’ experience in banking/financial services management with Meridian Bank, Anglo American Corporation (CA) Ltd and Aflife Zambia


Arnold Shilimi – Advocate, Solicitor and Chartered Arbitrator with extensive experience in legal, company secretarial and corporate services.
